By accessing this website and by placing a room reservation with The LimeTree Hotel, you agree to accept, without limitation or qualification, all of these Terms and Conditions of Use. If you do not accept these Terms and Conditions of Use, please exit this website immediately.
Losses & Liabilities
Without affecting any statutory consumer rights or other laws that cannot be lawfully excluded or limited, The LimeTree Hotel will not be liable for loss of any kind whatsoever arising out of, caused by, attributable to or resulting from your booking, use of our Services or stay at the relevant the hotel. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all conditions, warranties, representations or other terms which may apply to our WiFi, our Website or any content on it, whether express or implied. The LimeTree Hotel will not be liable to any user for any loss or damage, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, even if foreseeable, arising under or in connection with:
- use of, or inability to use, any of our Services;
- or use of or reliance on any content displayed on our Website.
We will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by a virus, distributed denial-of-service attack, or other technologically harmful material that may infect your equipment, computer programs, data or other proprietary material due to your use of our Services or to your downloading of any content on our website, or on any website linked to it. Different limitations and exclusions of liability will apply to liability arising as a result of the supply of any service by us to you.
When staying at The LimeTree Hotel, you may choose to participate in any tour or programme or activity organised ("Programmes") by our agents and/or partners. Please note that such Programmes may have inherent risks to health and safety and by agreeing to participate in any such Programme, you agree to accept such risk and release The LimeTree Hotel from any associated liabilities or eventualities arising, relating or in connection to the Programme booked during your stay at The LimeTree Hotel or through the Website.
The LimeTree Hotel will not be responsible for any loss or damage of property left in Guest's room and/or the Hotel property at all times. Guests are advised to obtain insurance to cover curtailment, and loss of luggage, personal effects, damages, personal injury and money/valuable belongings.
To the extent permitted by law, The LimeTree Hotel do not accept any liability arising out of any occurrences beyond its control including but not limited to acts of terrorism, acts of God, flood, war, strikes, riot, theft, delay, cancellation, civil disaster, government regulations, pandemic or changes in itinerary or schedule (collectively, "Force Majeure").
Code of Conduct
Guests shall acquaint themselves with the fire safety procedures and comply immediately with fire or other safety drills, alarms and instructions. Guests shall behave appropriately and with discretion at all times, respectful of the Hotel environment and staff, as well as of other guests and to comply with The LimeTree Hotel's rules and regulations, hotel policies and procedures and/or requests with regard to conduct and respect for the property of The LimeTree Hotel, its employees and Guests and their health and safety. The LimeTree Hotel reserves the right to require a Guest to leave if he/she is causing a disturbance, annoying other Guests or The LimeTree Hotel employees or is behaving in an unacceptable manner including causing damage to property. The police may be called-in by the management to remove such persons from the premises. In such cases all payments shall be forfeited and outstanding bookings cancelled.
Cancellation Policy
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we have updated our reservation and cancellation policies to provide more flexibility for all of our guests as follows:
- No cancellation fees will be imposed for any cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the arrival date except for reservations made during Flash Sales campaigns, Special Promotions/Offers and reservations through third party agents where any cancellation shall be in accordance with the terms and conditions stated in the respective Rate Plan/Room Packages/Room Offers.
- Cancellation policy will be provided during and upon confirmation of your reservation.
- Any cancellation of your reservation made through this website shall comply with the applicable cancellation policy and it applies to all reservations.
Arrival Date
The Arrival Date is the day you will check-in. The check-in time is 1400 hours/2pm. If possible, please include your flight details and arrival information. This helps us to prepare for your arrival.
Departure Date
The Departure Date is the day you will check-out. The check-out time is 1200 hours/12pm. Late check-outs up to 1800 hours/6pm will be subjected to a surcharge of 50% of the Best Available Rate. For any check-outs after 1800 hours/6pm, the full room charge will be imposed.
Children
Individuals 11 years of age and below are considered children.
Malaysia Tourism Tax and Sales and Services Tax
In accordance with the Short Term Economic Recovery Plan announced by the Government of Malaysia on June 5, 2020, the following shall be applicable:
- All guests at The LimeTree Hotel will be exempted from paying the 6 % Sales and Services Tax (for rooms only) until June 5, 2021.
- Foreign tourists and non-resident guests who were previously required to pay a Tourism Tax of RM10.00 (per room per night) in compliance with the Tourism Tax Act 2017, will now be exempted from paying the same at The LimeTree Hotel until June 5, 2021. Malaysian citizens and permanent residents (with MyPR cards) are exempted from the payment.
